Charon Collective está muy emocionado de lanzar la colección definitiva de Scapegoat de Nuevo México en un CD de edición limitada. Scapegoat toma los componentes definitivos del death, thrash y black metal y los entrelaza con las mejores facetas del deathcore y la orquestación ennegrecida para idear una identidad completamente distintiva propia.
El CD homónimo recopila todas las canciones grabadas hasta 2025, incluidos todos los sencillos y el álbum "Skirmishes of Existence and Expiration". Varias pistas cuentan con una impresionante lista de invitados especiales, entre ellos Candlebearer, MajesticGhost, CJ McMahon (ex-Thy Art Is Murder), Brandon Cooper, Robert Manzone (With Blood Comes Cleansing), Zack Glaeser (Glae), Nathan Baird (Atrocity) y el célebre solista de metales e intérprete de sinfónica Tom Hoyt.
En cuanto a las letras, Scapegoat aborda los mismos temas de destrucción y oscuridad que la mayoría de las bandas de metal, pero con la perspectiva de que más allá de todo el caos y la lucha hay una luz al final del túnel. Las pruebas y tribulaciones personales también figuran en el tema tratado.
