The project was formed in late 2003 under the name of Armagherion and changed its name to Animae Capronii in early 2004. Before the band's earliest tapes, other songs were recorded on tape, but they remain unreleased.
Cesare used to rehearse and record all his albums in his old garage until 2010, when he bought his own apartment and got married. He now records in his home studio located in an ex-garage, now adapted as a rehearsal/recording room.
