Los hermanos Lăpuşneanu viven en Portugal (Barreiro) desde 2002.

GOD se formó como V.O.M.A. (Vómito en la Autoridad Mental) como una banda de muerte / grind a fines de 1992. Desde 1994 cambiaron el nombre al actual. No hay una demo grabada bajo V.O.M.A., solo unas cuantas pistas de ensayo.

Llaman a su estilo "metal bárbaro".
