When the band was known as Vitality they played death metal. They changed their name to 'Drottnar' when they started playing Viking black metal, but by the time they released Anamorphosis they had become a technical black metal band.
Three members chose the stage names: Kvest, Bøddel, and Gestalt and played the only live show for Horde.
